There may not have been “any law” to prevent the “evil” that occurred during the fatal beating of 29-year-old Tyre Nichols, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said.

Speaking in an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Jan. 29, Jordan said that the new body camera footage of Memphis police officers pummeling Nichols was “difficult to watch,” and he was taken aback by the “lack of respect for human life.”
