Jill Duggar announced she’s expecting another child—her second—with husband Derick Dillard.
She made the announcement on Tuesday, saying the baby will be delivered in July.
“We are so excited to be expecting Dillard baby #2!” the couple told People magazine. “Children really are a wonderful blessing from God.”
She added: “Having Israel has been such a delight to us that we know a second sweet baby will only continue to add joy to our family.” Israel is the name of their first son. It’s unclear what they will name their second child.
“We were really excited when we found out we were expecting,” Duggar also told ET in a video. “I had been through, like, tons of pregnancy tests … so when we got a positive pregnancy test, I took like, three, and I was, like, ‘[gasp] Really?!’ I was so excited.”
“We just look forward to growing as a family, ” her husband added.
Jessa Duggar, the sister of Jill—who also stars in their “Counting On” TV show—is expecting her second child in February. Jessa also has another child with husband Ben Seewald.
The TLC reality TV show, “19 Kids and Counting,” was canceled in July after sibling Josh Duggar admitted to abusing his siblings, including Jill and Jessa, when he was 14 and 15 years old.
