EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - On Sunday, the Jets announced that they have resigned OLB Calvin Pace.

Calvin Pace  signed  a two-year, $5M extension according to a source close to the situation.

Pace couldn’t renegotiate a deal until after free agency began last Tuesday. He was coming off of a MSB benefit contract according to The Star Ledger.

Pace, 33, was the sixth unrestricted free agent to resign with the Jets. Last season, Pace recorded 53 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and 10 sacks. PFF ranked him 4th in highest pass coverage.
