Jessica McCoy, the “Fountain mom” or “fountain girl"--a 25-year-old apparently intoxicated Iowa woman--jumped into the fountains at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City earlier this week, it was reported. She was released from jail on Tuesday.

McCoy was charged with three counts, including resisting arrest, trespassing, and propositioning an officer in an attempt to get out of trouble, reported Fox Sports.

In videos posted on YouTube, a number of people warned her, including one woman saying “sweetie, you’re going to fall!”

“I was drunk,” she told Fox 4 News. “I don’t really remember it,” she added.

McCoy, who may or may not be a mother, was dubbed “fountain mom,” after the term #fountainmom trended across Twitter.

“It might look funny on websites, but it’s a dangerous thing to do,” Royals spokesman Toby Cook told radio station KMBZ.

“Not only gets you out of the ballpark really fast, it’s something we want to encourage fans not to consider because somebody could get seriously hurt if they go into the fountain,” he continued.

Cook said that it is unsafe to swim in the fountains because they have spikes or electrical lines that power the lights and water-pushing mechanisms.

Several people took photos and captured her on video, and they were subsequently published on the Deadspin website.
