A “terrorist” from Palestine was shot dead by Israeli Defense Forces on Thursday after the man drove a tractor inside the base.
The forces said that the man drove the tractor towards a base near Al-Ram, southeast of Ramallah, where he managed to cross the base’s perimeter fence.
One soldier suffered minor injuries in the situation.
The tractor was driven through the entrance barrier while the guard went inside the base to ask if the tractor had authorization to enter, reported the Jerusalem Post.
The driver began ramming vehicles parked inside the gate.
Two officers began firing at the tractor.
The man died from his wounds.
