Jeremy Meeks’ wife is not happy with the attention her husband is receiving after his mugshot went viral, a friend says.

She’s so upset that she probably won’t appear in court.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if you don’t see her at all in the cameras, because she’s upset,” friend Simone Johnson told CBS Sacramento.

“She’s furious. Her man is in there and people are taking it as a joke, thinking it’s funny talking about his looks, saying all kinds of crazy things.”

Meeks’ younger brother Bryan Verela added that he doesn’t think Meeks is guilty.

“He’s a man who learns from his mistakes,” said Meeks’ brother Bryan Varela. “With his past history, he got out of being incarcerated and put his mind on focus to his family and started doing what he had to do. Living the dream that he always wanted.”

Meeks, whose arraignment continues on June 27, was arrested on June 18 on felony weapons charges after the Stockton Police Department conducted a weapons sweep in the Weston Ranch area of the city.

The department posted mugshots of all the men arrested but Meeks mugshot blew up with thousands of likes and comments.

“OMGGG superrrrrr Delicious,” commented Adjutha Lambertina, while Michelle Asher Morales asked: “Can we be handcuffed together….lordy!!”

Amanda Sullivan added that it is “the most attractive looking mug shot I’ve ever seen!”

“It just proves that most people never rise to their true potential. And, that most of us are fooled by a pretty smile and nice eyes lol,” she added.

The situation prompted people to create memes.

The attention may pay off for Meeks. Blaze Modelz told TMZ that so-called “gangster models” are hot right now and that they could book Meeks for high-end fashion houses such as Versace and Armani for $15,000 to $30,000 a month.
