Jennifer Lawrence is the most-liked actress who is in a film opening this summer, for her reprisal of the Raven/Mystique role in the latest X-Men movie.
“X-Men: Days of Future Past” opened in May and has been a national and worldwide box office success, not to mention critical.
The declaration was made by The Wrap, which used a firm to poll over 1,800 participants. These participants were provided a celebrity’s name and a brief description, and then asked how they feel about him or her and if they recognize the person or not.
Lawrence scored the highest so-called Q score on the list, tallied after the study depending on the answers. She got a 27.
Melissa McCarthy was second with a 25 for her role in “Tammy,” while Angelina Jolie was third with 23 for “Maleficent.”
The top 11 was rounded out by Rachel McAdams (“A Most Wanted Man”); Amy Poehler (“They Came Together”); Shailene Woodley (“The Fault in Our Stars”); Meryl Streep (“The Giver”); Drew Barrymore (“Blended”); Emma Stone (” The Amazing Spider-Man 2″); Mila Kunis (“Jupiter Ascending”); and Charlize Theron (“A Million Ways to Die in the West”).
As far as the recognizability, Lawrence was not first in that category.
Cameron Diaz (“Sex Tape”) scored the highest with an 82, followed by Jolie, and then Barrymore.
Jessica Alba (“Sin City”); Megan Fox (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”) Kate Hudson (“I Wish I Was Here”); Streep; Scarlett Johansson (“Lucy”); Lawrence; and Stone rounded out the top 10.
