Jennifer Capriati, the former tennis star, had a trial date set for the alleged battery and stalking of her ex-boyfriend.

The trial will start Dec. 17 in Palm Beach County, reported The Associated Press. She faces misdemeanor charges and will likely not see prison time.

Capriati, 37, is accused of punching ex-boyfriend Ivan Brannan as he worked out at the gym on Valentine’s Day of this year.

Officials alleged that she stalked him before the incident.

Her attorney, Richard Lubin, told the Palm Beach Post that the charges against her are false.

She won a gold medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and later, she won the French Open and Australian Open.

According to the Post, she was also arrested for shoplifting and marijuana possession in the 1990s.
