Jenna Hager: George W. Bush’s daughter shared the pictures of her first child, a girl named Mila, with the Today Show, where she works as a contributing correspondent.
“Both my girls are healthy and well,” Henry Hager, Jenna’s husband, told the Today show in an email on Sunday, calling himself a “proud papa.”
Mila is named after her grandmothers.
“Our family is elated,” George W. Bush and his wife Laura said in a statement.
Jenna Bush Hager is the younger fraternal twin of the former president. She previously interned with UNICEF and now works part-time at a local charter school in Baltimore, Maryland.
Al Roker, while discussing the pregnancy on the Today Show, joked that he predicted Hager’s child would be a girl. “I mean, it’s 50/50,” he said.
