A tornado was confirmed on the ground near Jasper, Missouri, on Thursday night. Another tornado was spotted in Golden City, located about 20 miles from Jasper.
Reports coming in on Twitter said there were downed trees 4 miles north of the town.
8:23pm – Law enforcement confirms a tornado in JASPER, MO. Storm moving ESE at 25mph.

The tornado, as of 8:21 p.m. CDT, was moving at around 25 mph east near the city.
It’s unclear if there were any injuries.
