Jason Schwartzman became a father for the first time on Saturday, Dec. 4, with the birth of a baby girl.

The 30-year-old actor and his wife Brady Cunningham, who is a fashion designer, are now the proud parents of Marlowe Rivers Schwartzman, who was born in Los Angeles last month.

Schwartzman’s publicist confirmed the news on Monday evening, according to People magazine.

Baby Marlowe also has a famous great uncle—she is the great niece of Francis Ford Coppola, the renowned Hollywood director, who is Schwartzman’s uncle.

Schwartzman and Cunningham got married in July 2009 at their home in San Fernando in a small ceremony, according to OnTheRedCarpet.com

Schwartzman, 30, starred in the 2009 comedy TV series Bored to Death, in which he plays Jonathan Ames. Costars include Zach Galifianakis and Ted Danson.

He has a movie in production called Goats, which is set for release this year.
