Japanese restaurants in New York will set up shop at the Brooklyn Brewery on Nov. 7 for Aki Matsuri 2013. They will serve unique Izakaya-themed dishes (Japanese-style pub fare).
There will be a soba noodle-making demonstration, and a taiko (Japanese drum) performance by the Kaoru Watanabe Taiko Center.
Tickets are $125 each. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to Japan Relief and all other proceeds will go towards educational programs by the Gohan Society.
