Janel Parrish is reportedly spreading herself too thin in working on Dancing with the Stars and Pretty Little Liars at the same time.
A report this week claims that her dance partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, is “freaking out” because she missed two days of dance rehearsals.
The report, published by TMZ, claims she had long days of filming on Pretty Little Liars
“Val believes he and Janel have a real shot at winning the trophy -- the finals are Monday and Tuesday -- but thinks her PLL schedule is sabotaging their chances,” said the report.
Citing its sources, TMZ also goes on to say that her castmates from Pretty Little Liars have “given given her little to no support -- even when she danced to the PLL theme song.”
Amid the report about Parrish allegedly missing days, she updated her People magazine blog.
“It’s been a crazy week because I’m back to work on Pretty Little Liars filming my Mona flashbacks for the finale. It’s been a little bit hectic, but Val’s been great about being flexible about my schedule, and we fit in rehearsal times whenever we could,” she wrote.
She also added: “This week we have a paso doble and an Argentine tango. The paso doble is going to be very powerful and passionate, and the Argentine tango is going to be softer and more romantic. It’s going to be fun and I’m really excited.”
Parrish noted that each week, dancers “work really, really hard each week, hoping you’re going to impress the judges and impress America with your dances, and you pour your heart out when you go out on that dance floor.”
