Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones shared on ESPN’s “Highly Questionable” how he grew up homeless and the struggles his family had early in his life. He also shared how he proposed marriage to his then-girlfriend at Red Lobster, of all places.

Here’s the clip:

Jones, a nine-year NFL veteran out of San Jose State, was selected in the third round (78th overall pick) of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. He’s spent eight of his nine seasons with the Packers, with the lone exception being the 2014 season when he was with the Oakland Raiders.

For his career the 31-year-old Jones has amassed 433 receptions for 5,861 yards and 51 TDs. His 14 TDs in 2012 led the NFL. He also has a Super Bowl ring from helping the Packers win the NFL title in 2010.
