Former actress Jackie Forster is asking for prayer for her young daughter Caleigh.
Forster revealed on Instagram that her daughter is battling leukemia.
Forster and her family traveled to Malaysia this week, where Caleigh began her chemptherapy sessions.
Caleigh is three years old.
“My family and I want to express our gratitude to all of you who standing in prayer with us for our beautiful #kikayCaleigh she is doing very well today. Remarkably well,” Forster said.
She thanked the doctors and nurses for their help.
She emphasized that though the family expects “a long battle,” “it’s a battle we will win!”
Because of the disease, Caleigh has been suffering from high fever, bruises, and blood clots.
Forster said in another post that the mood swings have started.
“ Praying she can overcome all these things and learn to control her emotions better. Caleigh is only 3.5years old but she is mentally, physically and most of the time emotionally strong.”
