Six-time Masters champion Jack Nicklaus posted a Facebook video that shows several guards not immediately recognizing him and asking for a security badge as he drove on Magnolia Lane—the entryway to Augusta National Golf Club.

Nicklaus, who won the prestigious event in ’63, ’65, ’66, ’72, ’75, and again in ’86, is revered everywhere—especially at Augusta National.
Overall, his 18 Majors won are more than anyone else. Even now at age 76 “The Golden Bear” is recognized by most people—just not all security guards.
How tight is security at Augusta National? Even Jack Nicklaus got stopped driving down Magnolia Lane. https://t.co/G4DTIH1wk0

The Masters is the site of maybe his greatest triumph ever when a 46-year-old Nicklaus (some even referred to him as the “Olden Bear” at the time) stunned the rest of the field in 1986 with a final round 65, including a jaw-dropping six under par on the back nine holes to win it.
