Ivan Lewis, who cheated on his spouse, held up an embarrassing sign on Facebook--admitting as much--to get wife Sonya Gore back.
Lewis has to get 10,000 “likes” for his picture, which shows him holding a sign saying “I cheated on my wife!!!” on the social media site.
“Sonya Gore said I got to get 10,000 [likes] before she take me back,” he wrote.
His picture will likely reach the goal because as of Friday, it had 7,600 “likes.”
“I don’t know you but I salute you for being a man and admitting to your mistake and being willing to that the embarrassment to prove to your lady that you’re willing to go the extra mile to show her that you love and care about her,” wrote one Facebook commenter.
Most Facebook users who commented on the photo were supportive of Lewis and his wife.
Another wrote: “I will like this.. a real man is he who s bold enough to admit his faults and do anything to get his woman back.. Sonya Gore, please forgive the man, South Africa says this man loves and can die for u..”
“I dont know you but I’m rooting for you. To many people are so quick to throw the towel in. What ever happened to for better or worse? You ain’t the first and you won’t be the last. Keep your head up and fly straight. Love conquer all,” another wrote.
Some weren’t so impressed.
“Smh...well im not going to give you that like!! Sorry bud,” wrote one, using the term “SMH,” which means “shaking my head.”
And another user wrote that Lewis is a “lucky man.”
