The Gaza Strip in Jerusalem was reportedly struck by Israeli aircraft in as many as 10 sites.

Palestinian officials and civilians reported to AFP that a cheese factory, a movie-making facility, and training grounds were struck by Israel. The airstrikes took place after Gaza was attacked by Palestinian rockets, according to Israeli officials. The rocket attack caused no injuries. Officials say that around three of the airstrikes were centered on the town of Khan Younis.

The attacks took place as many Israelis embark on Passover pilgrimages to Hebron and Bethlehem; the incidents prompted a new wave of clashes between Palestinian and Israeli forces. Witnesses say that the airstrikes were conducted by F16 fighter jets.
