Israeli warplanes were reportedly hitting targets in the Gaza Strip on Thursday night after soldiers were injured in a mortar.
The mortars were apparently fired from Gaza, reported Ynetnews.com, citing Palestinian sources.
An anti-tank shell was also reportedly fired by the Israel Defense Forces in the city of Khan Younis.
The Times of Israel reported that the warplanes “scored direct hits” on two concealed rocket launchers in Gaza.
It is unclear if anyone was injured.
