A new video allegedly shows headcam footage from a dead ISIS fighter that was never meant to be released to the public.

The video, obtained by VICE News, shows an ISIS fighter on the frontline, battling against the Peshmerga Kurds 30 miles north of Mosul, Iraq.

There is no verification that the video is authentic, although stylistically it’s similar to the other headcam propaganda footage released by ISIS.

Instead of glorifying war, the video shows the bumbling chaos of it. The fighters appear to be in a constant state of panic, as bullets whiz by.

The video also puts the incompetence of ISIS fighters on full display. At one point, one of the fighters inside the vehicle tells another fighter to shoot properly, lest the bullet casings hurt someone inside the vehicle, and to avoid shooting at other ISIS fighters.

At one point, one of the fighters had to be told to “take the safety cap off the rocket” before firing it.

Eventually their vehicle is hit by a rocket, and they’re forced to abandon it. The retreating ISIS fighters roll on the ground to avoid being shot, but the wearer of the headcam is shot anyway, and the video ends.
