Suifenhe, a city bordering Russia, was closed on April 12 due to surging CCP virus (also known as COVID-19) infections. It’s a shot of a street scene in a pedestrian zone, Suifenhe city, on April 15.

Man: Due to the epidemic, all shops other than food stores were told to close. All shops are packing up. Today is April 15th.

On April 12, Suifenhe officials imposed a lockdown policy and a mandatory 28-day isolation (14 days in quarantine center and 14 days residential isolation) to all returnees. Local residential complexes were closed and movements were restricted.

As of April 15 at midnight, there were 350 confirmed cases, with 34 asymptomatic cases. They were all detected at Suifenhe port, according to Heilongjiang CDC. The imported cases from Russia were predominantly young businessmen aged 40 to 50 years old.
