An explosion went off near the Iran Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Thursday.
According to preliminary reports, it was a suicide bomber that caused the blast.
Photos shared on Twitter showed a large amount of smoke in the air as well as debris scattered on the street.
Broadcaster 1TV News in Afghanistan said the bomb attack was targeting the embassy.
The explosion went off after 8:15 a.m. local time.
Ambulances and emergency service workers are on the scene.
