There’s lots of information flying around about the iPhone 5S, but enough of it that we can make educated guesses into when the release will be, and what the features and specs will be like.

Release

The iPhone 5S won’t be released until at least the fall, credited to analysis of Expert Reviews of Apple’s CEO Tim Cook.

“Our teams are hard at work on some amazing new hardware, software, and services that we can’t wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014,” he said in April

Apple has notably not said much of anything about the iPhone 5S, including whether it exists or not. However, some leaks, including leaked photos, seem to confirm its existence.

Analysis by the International Business Times predicts the iPhone 5S launch to be on September 20 of this year.

Features and Specs

Some features looked at by Mac Rumors, which is one of the websites that obtained leaked photos of the iPhone 5S.

-An upgraded battery (with a capacity of 5.92 Whr compared to 5.45 Whr)

-A dual LED flash

-Dimensions pretty much identical to the iPhone 5

As Apple gained access to AuthenTec technology, it is being said that the iPhone S5 will have some type of fingerprint reading capability.
