The Facebook app for the iPad and the iPhone on Friday appears to be having problems, with a number of Twitter users saying it crashes.
The app appeared to start having problems for iOS devices after the latest version 6.7 update on Friday.
The update allows users to edit their posts, but it appears that a bug was introduced as well.
“Anybody have problems with iOS Facebook app? Mine keeps crashing on both iPhone and iPad,” wrote one user.
A test of two Epoch Times reporters’ iPhones show that the app appears to start working for a few seconds before it crashes.
Complaints about the app swarmed Twitter on Friday, suggesting that it is a widespread problem.
For iOS 7 users, the app may have been automatically updated.
As iPhoneHacks points out, people can use the Facebook Messenger app to talk with others, use the Facebook Camera to access and share pictures, or use Facebook Page Manager.
