A woman driving on the wrong side of the road on Interstate 95 in Florida caused a multi-car crash that left five dead, officials said.

The woman’s truck slammed into a car that was carrying four people on I-95 northbound near Miami Gardens Drive.

All four died, as well as the woman driving truck.

Five cars in total were involved in the crash. The other three drivers survived with non-life threatening injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals.

The crash took place just before 1 a.m., reported NBC Miami. All northbound lanes were shut down for hours, but were later re-opened.

But delays are still present on the road, reported WPTV, prompting authorities to advise drivers to take U.S. 441, Biscayne Boulevard, or North Miami Avenue as alternates.

The woman who caused the accident was in her 20s. The identities of those involved in the wreck have not been released.
