Intelligence Season 2? Will CBS Show be Canceled or Renewed?

March 31, 2014 Updated: July 18, 2015

Intelligence season 1 is wrapping up on March 31 and fans are wondering: will there be a season 2?

No announcement has been made about a renewal at this point, and things aren’t looking so good.

CBS renewed the bulk of its shows earlier in March, including the ultra popular NCIS, new seasons of Amazing Race and Survivor, and five comedies including 2 Broke Girls.

Intelligence, along with The Mentalist and The Crazy Ones, weren’t renewed, indicating they’ll probably be canceled.

Zap2It, which crunches viewing numbers and makes predictions about which shows will be canceled or renewed, has all three shows as “certain to be canceled by May 2014.”

The viewing numbers have dropped sharply for Intelligence over the season.

The pilot drew 16.5 million viewers, including 2.4 million in the key 18-49 bracket. But the next episode saw only 6.2 million, and 1.2 million in the bracket.

Viewing for episode 12 dipped just below five million, with 1.1 million in the bracket.

All that said, without an official cancellation announcement, there’s still a chance Intelligence is renewed.
