A former star on the Spike show “Ink Master” was arrested for allegedly trying to choke his 13-year-old daughter.

Chris Blinston was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday after his daughter claimed he put his hands around her neck and strangled her, police said, as reported by People magazine and TMZ.

He was booked into a Palm Beach County jail at 4 a.m. on charges of cruelty towards a child without great bodily harm and domestic battery by strangulation. He was later released at 2:30 p.m. after posting bond.

The girl said that Blinston grabbed her neck and squeezed it for about 10 seconds, leaving her unable to breathe for that time. “You just choked me, after everything that’s gone on the past two days, you’re choking me!” she told him, according to a police report.

After that, he got angry and grabbed her neck again for about 6 to 7 seconds.

The report stated that he told her that if she told anyone, that there would be severe repercussions. He also allegedly called her names.

Police said that they found marks on her neck, and they noted that Blinston is 220 pounds and the girl is 110 pounds.

Blinston owns No Hard Feelings tattoo and piercing shop in Carol Springs, Florida, and he competed on the show in 2015. According to his website, Blinston is “known for his award-winning artwork, and his dedication and commitment to volunteering.”
