In Indianapolis, a woman was found tied up in basement in a house on Jefferson Avenue.

Contractors were at the house doing some work, when they heard a noise in the basement.

When they went to check out the noise, they found a 83-year-old woman with duct tape over her mouth, reported WISH-TV.

Police said that the woman may have been there for a couple days.

Police officers and an ambulance were sent to the home.
