The Indianapolis VA hospital was evacuated on Friday morning amid reports of a suspicious package. Reports at around 10:35 a.m. said that officials gave the all-clear for patients to come back in, according to WTHR.

WISH-TV reported that the package was found in the hospital, located on 1400 block of West 10th Street.

The bomb squad was called to the hospital to investigate the matter.

More than 1,500 people were moved to another part of the hospital.

All appointments with the hospital have been canceled until noon.

Photos uploaded to Twitter show patients waiting outside the facility, using blankets to keep warm.

IndyGo buses were brought in to also keep patients warm, reported WTHR-TV.
