A man in downtown Indianapolis has barricaded himself on the 19th floor of the Barton Tower and has been shooting down at the street.
SWAT teams were called to the building, and parts of Massachusetts Avenue near North Street have been shut down, reported the Indy Star.
Shots were fired from the 19th floor window of the building, reported ABC.
The building is 21 stories.
Some residents next to the apartment where the man has barricaded himself were told to leave, but most others are still inside, reported Michael Boren of the Star. Officials told him that everyone is safe.
