Shootings and multiple fights reportedly took place at Castleton Square Mall in Indianapolis on Saturday, it was reported.
Tony Katz, the host of The Morning News on RTV, was at the AMC theater.
According to The Indy Channel, he said: “I was in the Hunger Games, the 6:20 showing, so it was well into the movie. No one heard any gunshots. A man with a baby had gone outside of the theater, and then he came back and said, ‘I don’t know what is going on, but people are screaming and heading this way.’ So everybody got up and headed toward the exits.”
“You could hear the screaming over the movie. It was an unbelievable sound of screaming. It was a very orderly procession out and then you could see police cars everywhere, streaming into the area.”
“I saw no weapon. I heard no weapon. But if you heard the screaming, very loud, it deafened the movie.”
Officials said the incident started as a fight at the mall before it spilled over to Castleton mall, reported FOX-59.
The mall was locked down after the shots were fired.
There were no injuries reported.
