Police in Indiana said they have solved a 47-year-old cold murder case involving the slaying of a 19-year-old woman.

Terre Haute Police Chief Shawn Keen said in a news release cited by NBC that Pamela Milam’s likely killer was Jeffrey Lynn Hand.
