Illegal Immigrant Arrests in May at US–Mexico Border Most in US History

Arrests of illegal immigrants at the U.S.–Mexico border in May set a new record, according to data released on June 15 by President Joe Biden’s administration.

Nearly 239,500 arrests were tallied in May, topping the previous record set in April.
