Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed appear to be an official couple as the pair embraced in front of photographers backstage, including Somerhalder kissing Reed on the cheek.
Somerhalder, 35, is best known for his work on The Vampire Diaries. He dated co-star Nina Dobrev for years but they broke up, and he now seems to have found a new girl.
Reed, 26, best known for being in Twilight, actually shares another romantic link with Dobrev, notes UsMagazine--they both dated Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough in the past year.
Somerhalder and Reed have been spotted recently out jogging together, running errands, and even adopting a horse named Eagle.
“Proud new dad... What amazing creatures they are. Wow,” Somerhalder captioned an Instagram photo hugging his new pet recently.
“His name is Eagle. Thank you @iamnikkireed for snapping this special moment, with our big baby boy.”
Somerhalder’s character Damon Salvatore seemed to die in the season 5 finale of Vampire Diaries but producers have confirmed that both he and Bonnie Bennett will be back in some context, and that they may become a couple.
Salvatore and Dobrev’s character Elena were a couple for a while in the show, but now they are separated for the time being as well.
