I was absolutely thrilled to learn today that the courts upheld the “stay” on the Biden vaccine mandate. Then imagine how I felt when I read the OSHA has backed down from mandates also. I get to keep my job. You see, I am a 61-year-old, single, white, truck driver, oh yeah, did I mention I am a woman? I have been driving commercial trucks for 22 years. And now I am finding not only is my job in jeopardy but so is this country. You see, medical supplies, pet and livestock food, car parts, and even office supplies DON‘T WALK TO THEIR DESTINATION, and I can’t see driving a train into Walmart. Months ago, I warned friends and family to “stock up”—if the trucks stop, the country stops. It is refreshing to know that there are judges that understand this, even if our president doesn’t. So my fellow conservatives, take a deep breath. I’ll be at work tomorrow. FYI in 14 to 16 hours, 600 miles, I can haul 1,200 TONS of freight a night. Freight for thought!
