Interstate 225 at Interstate 70 are still deluged with standing water in Aurora, Colorado. Floods rocked much of the central part of the state on Thursday.

Three lanes of I-225 and I-70 in Aurora, Colo., were “consume[d]” with water in some parts, wrote one Instagram user, who posted a startling image of waters engulfing a car.

According to another Twitter user, southbound I-225 at I-70 are “quickly becoming a lake,” and “Aurora is now on accident alert.”

There was also a road collapse at Highway 287 and Dillon, with two trucks and a car in the water.

The Aurora Sentinel also reported that a sinkhole was forming near Alameda and Havana streets, while the Department of Transportation said that the ramp from I-70 to I-225 closed.

“Numerous reports of heavy street flooding in Aurora. We are advising people to STAY OFF THE ROADS!” reads a tweet from the Aurora Police Department.
