Hurricanes vs Brumbies 2014: Rugby Game Time, Date, Live Streaming, TV Channel, Preview

March 6, 2014 Updated: July 18, 2015

The Hurricanes will face the Brumbies in a Super Rugby match on Friday, March 7.

The match will be played at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. local time.

It will be live streamed on Fox Sports in Australia, Sky Sports in New Zealand, SuperSport in South Africa, and Sky Sports 2 in the United Kingdom.

The Brumbies have won the last three matches between the teams, dating back to 2011. The Hurricanes won the two prior matches.

The Brumbies suffered a particularly major blow as David Pocock had knee reconstruction surgery on Wednesday. That brought Jarrad Butler to open-side flanker and Captain Ben Mowen to No. 8 to cover for Butler, while Scott Fardy was shifted to blind-side flanker.

Andrew Smith is also coming into the starting line-up for the first time since 2012.

The team lost it’s first match this season to the Reds but just won over the Western Force.

The Hurricanes are 0-2 but nearly beat the Stormers.

They also made some line-upchanges, bringing in James Marshall for Marty Banks at fullback and bringing in Adam Hill at blindside flank for the injured Faifili Levave.

The official league website predicts the Hurricanes will win by 2 due to home field advantage.
