Valeria Lukyanova, the self-proclaimed “Human Barbie” has said ehe was beaten and strangled outside of her home in Ukraine, and added that she is still in pain but is recovering.

Photos of her from the hospital show a swollen lip and bandages on her face.

Lukyanova said the Halloween night beating was derived from a two-year-long hate campaign against her from strangers over how she looks. “I came back home from a shop with bags and entered the door code when two men rushed from the dark and attacked me” she said.

“They said nothing and did not try to rob me. It happened in a flash, they hit me on the head, several times on my jaw, then one of them began strangling me.If it wasn’t for my neighbour who who suddenly appeared, I don’t know what would have happened. They saw her and ran away,” she told the Daily Mail.

She was taken to the hospital and remained there overnight.

“I feel a little better, but my jaw is still hurting badly. I have been on the strongest pain killer for four days, but still woke in the middle of the night from horrible pains,” she said.

Lukyanova also said she is talking about the attack to address rumors that she got plastic surgery. In the past, she has said she’s never received plastic surgery other than breast implants.

Last year, she made headline-generating comments about “race-mixing.”

“For example, a Russian marries an Armenian,” Lukyanova told GQ magazine.

“They have a kid, a cute girl, but she has her dad’s nose. She goes and files it down a little, and it’s all good. Ethnicities are mixing now, so there’s degeneration, and it didn’t used to be like that. Remember how many beautiful women there were in the 1950s and 1960s, without any surgery? And now, thanks to degeneration, we have this. I love the Nordic image myself. I have white skin; I am a Nordic type -- perhaps a little Eastern Baltic, but closer to Nordic.”

She also claimed to be a spiritual guru and is using her appearance to promote her spiritual ideals.
