A report is claiming that X-Men star Hugh Jackman is having “marital problems” his wife, but it appears to be bogus.

A source allegedly told the National Enquirer: “Hugh won’t admit – and feels guilty for saying so – that sometimes he’s happier being off on a movie location instead of having to deal with any family drama back home.” The source adds: “She feels like she’s getting the short shrift from Hugh romantically because when he returns, their focus is on the kids and not themselves.”

However, Gossip Cop refuted the Enquirer’s reporting, saying the whole thing is bogus.

A representative for Jackman told the site that the story is “total BS.”

It says, “First of all, Jackson and Furness have been married for nearly 20 years, and she works as a film producer and director. She clearly understands that being away on film locations is a part of their business. She also isn’t angry that they spend time with their children when Jackman’s home, and she certainly isn’t hiring a personal trainer ’to make their marriage work.'”

Currently, Jackman is filming “Pan,” based on the Peter Pan story. Jackman is playing an evil pirate, but he isn’t playing Captain Hook. Instead, he’s playing Blackbeard.

Captain Hook isn’t a captain and doesn’t have a hook for a hand. He’s more like an Indiana Jones-like character, reported EW.com.

Director Joe Wright told the site: “This isn’t exactly the Neverland story you know.”

It also published a number of images from the production.

“Pan” is slated for release on July 17, 2015, and stars Garrett Hedlund, Nonso Anozie, Amanda Seyfried, Rooney Mara, Adeel Akhtar and Levi Miller, as well as Jackman.
