Verizon will be the first to offer the new HTC Thunderbolt after it is released. Pre-orders for the phone can be made at www.wirefly.com.

The HTC Thunderbolt is equipped with the Android operating system, a 4.3“ screen, and carries 4G technology that is utilized through Verizon’s cellular network. The Thunderbolt also comes with an 8 megapixel camera as well as built-in DLNA connectivity technology.

The DLNA technology will allow users to send a wireless signal to their flatscreen TVs, allowing them to stream video or music from their phone. The new smartphone is powered by a second generation Snapdragon Processor running at 1 GHz. The Thunderbolt sports a 1.3 megapixel front-facing for video calls. The rear camera records video at 720P HD resolution.

Verizon customers can register at the company’s website to receive an email to be informed of the phone’s arrival before it hits store shelves. Verizon is now claiming that they have “the fastest, most advanced network in America.” Their 4G network is listed as a 4G LTE network which is said to be faster than any other 4G network in the continental United States.

Consumers who want a HTC Thunderbird shipped out to them on March 17th can register online at popular online phone retailer www.wirefly.com. Wirefly offers all of their customers free Fed Ex shipping to and from the company.
