People can watch the 2014 Olympics online through live streams on NBC’s website.

However, unless you log in as a cable subscriber, you can only access a special, one-time-only 30 minute peek at an event.

After that, each session will only grant you five minutes of viewing.

If you log in as a cable subscriber, then you get unlimited access.

Because of the time difference, many of the events are streamed from 12:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Viewers who miss these streams can access them on the website later on.
