How do you say Yes and No in Chinese? It isn’t as simple as in English or many other languages. In Mandarin Chinese there is no dedicated word for Yes and No, in replying to a question, a Chinese person will repeat the verb for a positive answer and repeat the verb preceded by a negative word for a negative answer.
