House of Cards is set for a premiere date of February 14, 2014, and some spoilers and previews of the upcoming season are coming out.

Here are some of the spoilers, mostly gleaned from the new extended trailer.

-Frank Underwood becomes vice president, which was confirmed at the end of season 1. This means that his wife Claire “must deal with the bright glare of the spotlight and how the intense scrutiny eats away at their once private existence,” according to the official description.

-Journalist Zoe Barnes, Underwood’s former mistress, keeps investigating Peter Russo’s death. At one point she questions if she helped make it happen.

-Raymond Tusk threatens Underwood after helping him get the vice president position. He says that if Underwood doesn’t reciprocate political favors, then he must face retribution.

-Underwood tells his wife about someone, possibly Tusk: “I want him obliterated.” Claire adds that she wants to “make him suffer.”
