A house on Garden Rock Road in unincorporated Marin County north of Fairfax sustained substantial damage in an early morning fire on Sept. 2, the Ross Valley Fire Department said.
Firefighters received several calls at about 8:10 a.m. and found a bedroom of the single-story house fully involved. That bedroom and another room were destroyed, and the rest of the house sustained serious smoke damage, Fire Chief Jason Weber said on social media.
