The family in “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star Alana Thompson were injured in a car crash on Monday night but according to the family, they’re still “sore.”
“It was really scary for us, since it was the first time any of us had ever been in a wreck,” said “Mama June” Shannon told CNN.
Alana’s father, “Sugar Bear” Thompson, was driving the vehicle when the crash took place.
According to the network, the family’s SUV crashed with a pickup truck at an intersection in Milledgeville, Georgia, said Police Maj. John Davis.
“We are definitely really sore today, but our top priority is to celebrate Pumpkin’s birthday,” said Shannon. “She turned 14 today, and no matter how sore we feel, we are going to go out and celebrate. As always, we want to thank everyone for their support and well wishes.”
Pumpkin is one of Alana’s sisters.
According to TMZ, Pumpkin suffered chest bruising and both parents suffered back injuries. Honey Boo Boo herself suffered a headache.
