Honey Boo Boo dad “Sugar Bear” was hospitalized recently, and mother June Thompson is asking for fans to “plz keep sugarbear” in their thoughts.
Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, 41, has diabetes and is in Jacksonville visiting the Mayo Clinic while his family awaits test results, reported USA Today.
“We will b here all week to run tests and more appts to get the right diagnosis and treatment sugarbear need,” wrote June on Honey Boo Boo’s Facebook page.
She added, “Just wanted to say thanks for the prayers and concerns for sugar bear yall r awesome for all your support.”
On a recent episode of TLC’s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” Sugar Bear was rushed to the hospital suffering intense pain.
In the episode, doctors diagnosed him with pneumonia and pancreatitis.
