Do you have a small kitchen? Not to worry! There are plenty of ways to work around small places when staging your home to sell.
One of the biggest mistakes home sellers often make is over-decorating small spaces. Having too much visual clutter actually makes a room look smaller, which is certainly not something you want to do when staging your home! It’s also important to maintain a balance. This kitchen, for example, shows that one side of it is completely bare, while the other side appears to be cluttered:
The magnets on the front of the refrigerator plus the items on top of it create a cluttered feel and makes this already small kitchen appear even smaller! And on the other side, the countertops are almost completely bare. When staging this room, we went in and removed the clutter and created more balance.

With all of those magnets removed, it opened up the space immediately. And over on the counter, we placed the tray (formerly on top of the refrigerator) with a pretty tea set as an accent.
