Festive trains won’t be the only draw at this year’s Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden. Stephen Starr Events, the catering arm of Starr Restaurants (Buddakan, Morimoto, Caffe Storico) is setting up a family friendly Holiday Dining Pavilion to feed hungry revelers, both young and old.
With the theme “Streets of New York,” the pavilion offers delicious eats representative of the city’s various neighborhoods, in a setting decorated with historical street scenes.
Think about pizzas and pastas on Arthur Avenue, soups or chili in Chelsea, and seasonal gelatos like Maple Ginger Snap or Apple Caramel Crisp. Kids and sweet-toothed alike can also look forward to an artisan Candy Bar.
