A helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing in New York City’s Hudson River near Manhattan on Sunday, according to accounts posted on Twitter.

Users on Twitter said the helicopter went down near West 79th Street & Riverside Drive Street.

Photos on Twitter show the aircraft in the river.

John Branch with CNN reported that the “helicopter made an emergency landing in the #Hudson River near 79th Street, the FDNY said. All occupants are out of the helicopter,” according to his Twitter feed.

Lisa Farrell, a producer at CBS New York, reported the helicopter made a “hard landing” but there were no reports of injuries.

“Helicopter down in Hudson River the chopper is upright on floats fire reporting all people on board accounted for. Amazing,” one Twitter user said.
