H.J. Heinz Co. is changing its tomato ketchup recipe for the first time in 40 years, according to a report by the New York Post.

The company will lower its ketchup’s salt content to appeal to more health-conscious consumers as many U.S. cities enacted laws to lower salt content in some foods. Heinz was also one of 16 food companies to agree to the National Salt Reduction Initiative last month.

Heinz currently has a 60 percent market share in the ketchup market.
